    Event Schedule:

    Raffle:                  You can buy tickets for the 2013 Summer Sports Raffle when you register or on line here. This year the raffle prizes include a summer ski pass at Timberline, a $500 shopping spree at Hillcrest Sports, a Deschutes white water rafting trip, a golf and spa weekend at the Inn at the Mountain, a summer ski camp with Mt. Hood Academy, windsurfing lessons and lodging in Hood River, and a Columbia Sports camping package. Tickets at $15 for one or two for $25. You do not need to be present to win.


    Eligibility:     All 2012-13 USSA licensed competitors, U14 and older are eligible to compete in the Golden Rose.  Senior racers, ages 21 and older, must have less than 100 USSA SL points to enter.

     

    Event Registration:  Entry fees are $45.00/race or $175.00 for all four racesIndividuals must register and pay on-line here, click the "Register" button. Phone and mail entries will not be accepted.  Team entries may be emailed to Bill Gunesch or Faxed to 503-296-5314.  Team entries must be paid by the first Team Captains meeting.

     

    Timberline Release:  All registered athletes must submit a signed Timberline Event Release.  (This is not the same release used for summer camps.)  Releases should be emailed to Bill Gunesch, Faxed to 503-296-5314 or turned in at the first TC Meeting.  No release – No bib!

     

    PNSA Entry Deadline:  All individual and team entries from PNSA athletes must be received by 5:00pm on Tuesday, May 21st.  Late registration will not be accepted.

    Out-of-division Entries:  The total quota for out-of-division entries is 10 men and 10 women.  Out-of-division athletes must register on-line by Tuesday, May 14th.  Competitors will be ranked by current USSA SL points. Check www.mthoodacademy.com on Friday, May 17th for entered competitors. 

    Field Size Limitation:  The Golden Rose will be limited to approximately 90 women and 90 men.  If necessary, the field will first be cut by eliminating U14 competitors, yob 2000, ranked by SL points on the current USSA points list.  Further cuts will rank the entire field by current USSA Slalom points.  Check the MHA web site - www.mthoodacademy.com - after 5:00pm on Wednesday the 22nd for a final list of competitors.

    Lift Tickets:   $46.00.  PNSA Elite Pass will be honored.  Fusion Pass and Timberline Winter Pass are valid.

    Race Headquarters:  Race HQ will be open each morning from 6:30 to 7:30am in the WyEast Day Lodge.

    1st TC Meeting:  7:30pm Friday the 24th at Mt. Hood Academy in Government Camp. Racers must be represented to be placed on the start list for Saturday’s race, and to receive their bib.

    Racer Bibs:   Bibs will only be issued at the first Team Captain's meeting. No Release - No Bib. Racers will use the same bib for all races. $50.00 will be charged for lost or damaged bibs.

    Awards:        Presented each day to the top 3 in each age group: U14, U16, and U18+. The Golden Rose perpetual trophies presented to the overall male and female with the lowest combined Race Points from all races.
